Hi Peter, thanks for the feedback and for getting in touch! We are fairly well on our way towards a working mvp. In fact, my lead dev hopes to have all the core functions in place by the end of the week (at least the liquid democracy functionality, the project posting tools might be another week or so). We are still a bit too early for test pilots, but if you are keen to have a look at it and can live with a few dead links you can join at crowdpol.com.
Really what we are trying to do is create a shared interface that many networks and organisations can make use of in order to collaborate and coordinate their projects, perhaps even co-fund mutual projects, with the added perk that our members get to influence the development of the platform to a great degree through voting on (and funding) what we build next.
Both Lightwave and Upgrading Democracy look like they are very much in line with what we are trying to do. I’d love to discuss the categories of Lightwave and your ideas to create new political parties (this was how Crowdpol initially started, as a tool for new political processes waiting the current democratic system). I am familiar with holochain also, it is the lead contender at the moment for building the future distributed version of Crowdpol, even if we have a ways to go before we we are ready for that.
In any case, I’d be happy to chat if you are keen to dive deeper.
All the best,
Tim
